The National Capital Trolley Museum is a great place to visit if you would like to travel back in time and learn how the Trolley transportation system helped expand our cities and usher in the age of electricity.
Not only does this museum have fully operational Trolley cars on display but visitors are also allowed to take scenic rides through the beautiful park setting. The conductors are Trolley experts and are always willing to answer questions and share interesting stories from a time gone by.
Don't miss the video clips below and links to a photo slide show from our visit! Our thanks go out to Joanie Pinson and G. Wells Drumwright for making our visit to the museum so special.
Special Note: The National Capital Trolley Museum is supported in part by grants from the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, the Maryland Historical Trust, the Montgomery County Historic Preservation Commission, and the Heritage Tourism Alliance of Montgomery County and by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission.
